When you use ClipChum, we collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture provided through Google OAuth sign-in.
• Uploaded content: Images you upload for face references, start/end frames, and source images. These are stored in Vercel Blob storage.
• Generated content: AI-generated images and videos created through the platform, along with the prompts used to create them.
• Usage data: Generation history, credit usage, and feature interactions collected via PostHog analytics.
• Payment information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Polar.sh. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the ClipChum service.
• To process AI image and video generations on your behalf.
• To manage your account and credit balance.
• To process payments through our payment provider (Polar.sh).
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the product experience.
• To communicate service updates or respond to support requests.

We use the following third-party services to operate ClipChum:

• fal.ai / Replicate: AI model providers that process your prompts and uploaded images to generate content.
• Vercel: Hosting and blob storage for uploaded files.
• Neon: Database hosting for account and project data.
• Polar.sh: Payment processing for credit purchases.
• PostHog: Product analytics.
• Google: OAuth authentication provider.

Your uploaded images and generated content are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via OAuth 2.0, and access controls on all stored data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. PostHog may set analytics cookies to understand product usage. No advertising cookies are used.

ClipChum is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
